Nevaeh's New Room

When we found out that we were going to be able to adopt Nevaeh we had to play musical bedroom with the boys. We paid to have the bonus room converted into a bedroom and had built in cupboards made for all our school books.Jared and Jacob moved from their bedroom to the new converted bedroom and Joshua moved from his bedroom into Jared and Jacob's old bedroom.

We then decorated Joshua's old room for Nevaeh. Misty, a good friend and neighbor of mine not to be confused with Nevaeh's bio mom, painted a Tinkerbell mural on the walls as a gift for Nevaeh. Misty did an amazing job and Nevaeh loves the room.

I went a little overboard on purchasing all the furniture in Tinkerbell also but as Nevaeh gets older we will purchase a white day bed and dresser.




The first night we tried to have Nevaeh sleep in her new toddler bed and it did not go over well at all. So we moved the crib out of our room and put the mattress back in the crib. She was a lot happier sleeping in her new room in her old bed. I guess we will wait to use the toddler bed when she starts climbing out of the crib.
